   Proposal Description:
   Goals: To determine whether published norms (P-norms) or norms developed from  healthy controls within the same sample (S-norms) are most sensitive, specific  and accurate for detecting early dementia in the Uniform Data Set.  Specific objective: Provide guidelines for clinicians and researchers about how  the use of published vs sample norms will affect estimates of disease prevalence in their samples.
